All those under the age of 18 and or with additional support needs, must be accompanied for the duration of their session at Play Academy.

 

Play Academy will endeavour to reduce risks where ever possible, however the safety of the child and or management of their behaviour is the responsibility of the accompanying adult.  The Play Academy Team will provide support as appropriate.

Video Cameras

There will be a wide angle lens video camera in every room and in the garden at Play Academy.  This is for your safety and to ensure the team can respond immediately in the event of an emergency situation.

Fire Alarms an Exit

There are fire alarms and heat detectors throughout the building at Play Academy.  The fire exits will be illuminated and lead either out of the front of the building, or out the back of the building and through the garden to a gated exit.

In the event of the alarm sounding, the Play Academy Team will don reflective vests and guide customers to the most appropriate exit and provide further instructions.

First Aid

There will be a qualified first aider on site at all times, with appropriate support equipment.

Allergens and Diagnosed Conditions

Play Academy will make every effort to reduce the risk of contact with allergens, however we cannot guarantee this for our customers.  If your child an or accompanying adult requires any medication and or specialist devices to manage their condition, please ensure they have this available to them during their visit. This will greatly assist in the management of a potential medical emergency.
